Shannon M. Miller is a creative, open-minded person who enjoys escaping through the lens of her camera into a world where she can express her own visual experiences, fantasies, and journeys.
After gaining an associate of photographic sciences degree from Endicott College for Women in Beverly, Massachusetts, she graduated with a bachelor of fine arts in photographic arts and sciences from Rochester Institute of Technology in New York. Since then, Shannon and her husband, Khris Kammer, have lived in Fairport, NY; Atlanta, GA; Fort Washington, PA; and landed finally in Lederach, PA.
Shannon began her photography business in 2006. She enjoys networking and meeting other like-minded business owners and is a long time member of Business Network International’s Indian Valley chapter (a.k.a BNI). As a commercial photographer, Shannon has photographed Lou Holtz, former coach for Notre Dame's football team, and Doug Flutie, former quarterback for the New England Patriots, as well as countless figures from various industries.
Her product shots and real estate photographs are scattered throughout the nation, each one taken to the exact specifications of her clients.
Meanwhile, her true love is fine art. Her images have been in photo contests, popular galleries, local and international magazines such as the Montgomery Town and Country Living and Zoom Magazine (Milano, Italy). Her framed work adds class and interest to the walls of both commercial buildings and residential homes across the Philadelphia region. As evident in her art, she uses nature as a source of guidance in which one can escape, contemplate, and search for meaning to life’s journey.
